Enquiring about and booking a session is super easy! Simply email me or call to kick off the process. Once the session retainer has been received, I'll arrange a planning consultation by phone so that we can get to know each other better. We'll agree a date, time and location for the shoot and I’ll give you more insight on what to expect on the day and how to prepare. We'll also discuss products and how best to display your dog's images in your home and or place of work.

For the shoot itself, we’ll choose a location where your dog is safe, relaxed and happy. I pay very special attention to your dogs’ comfort level, which is my main priority at all times. I, on the other hand will be getting down and dirty! This is not a studio shoot and as such the goal is to create images that express your dogs’ unique personality traits, so the session will be extremely relaxed and fun for all. We will take our time and capture a combination of shots.

7-10 days after your photo shoot, I’ll arrange a suitable date for a private viewing and ordering session where you’ll see your images for the first time. You can then start to narrow down your favourites! I’ll show you sample albums, wall art and extras and help you make your final selections. It can be tough choosing your favourites, but I’ll be on hand to guide you through the choices. Once your order is placed it’s just a case of sitting back and enjoying.





  • Where is Vue.Dog based?

    Short answer: Yarcombe, in Devon.
    I’m based in Devon and cover Devon, Dorset and Somerset. I also have a base in the South East, so I’m able to conduct shoots in Kent, Sussex and London as well as other parts of the UK, with the only restriction being any existing commitments.

  • How much is a session fee with Vue.Dog?

    Short answer: There isn't one!
    Your total investment depends on how many images you fall in love with and how you'd like to display them. A non-refundable retainer of £399 is required to book your session, which includes a planning consultation, an on-location photo session, and an in-person ordering appointment.
    And here's the good bit!
    100% of your reservation retainer magically becomes a product credit to spend on your artwork.

  • My dog is unruly. Is this a concern?

    Short answer: Nope.
    You know what they say about working with kids and animals!! I find patience is the key. I’ve worked with all kinds of animals and once we’ve identified their particular idiosyncrasies we can use it to our advantage. PLEASE SEE THIS ARTICLE.

  • What happens if it rains?

    Short answer: We will most likely have to reschedule.
    I will be keeping an eye out for any inclement weather. Good light is a major influence in the images I take. Rain, especially, is not kind to us and even less kind to my equipment. Dogs can also become distinctly uncomfortable leading to unnatural and uneasy poses. If there’s going to be dark clouds or rain, then unfortunately we will have to reschedule. In the event that a session has to be rescheduled, there will be no additional charges.

  • How can I display my photographs?

    Short answer: That's a good question!
    I will work with you all the way until your artwork is proudly displayed in your home and or place of work! Most of my clients choose to purchase beautiful wall art, and I offer several options to suit a variety of homes. Stunning fine art, custom designed, albums for displaying on bookshelves, desks, and coffee tables are also very popular. During your private ordering appointment, you will be able to see and touch samples of all the products. Digital images are also available for personal use and sharing on social media..
